Don’t Let Anyone Hold The Pen When Writing Your Story

“Your comeback may be so slow that even your biggest fans are starting to lose hope. Don’t you lose hope. Right when others have written you off is exactly when God will step in & causes you to flourish. Folks are about to see you to rise! God is intending a whole lot of good in your direction! Your latter will be much greater than your former & even your now! God already has your rise written in the script! The book can’t be closed & the story can’t be fully told until God brings you from the background to the forefront! Your come-up is “Heaven-Sealed”! God has His stamp on you!”

When writing the story of your life, don’t let anyone else hold the pen. Every Person that was from your past had lives as a shadow in your mind. Good or bad, they all helped you write the story of your life and shaped the person you are today. Everybody have a story to tell if it is a good or bad experience in their life. Our experience is our own story and testimonies that we must share with others. Everybody have a book in them and we can be our own author in our life. We must tell our stories about our situations and how God have helped us to overcome the situations. By writing our own book we are sharing our stories to help empower others. We all need to empower each other. That what Jesus will do for us in our daily life. Joel Osteen had say in his TV broadcast that God has written every page of your life in His book (Psalm 139.16). God knows your future. He has already planned it out. The good news is your book ends in victory. This is already in God design. God have a design for each of his children. He knows about it before we do. If it is in God design then he will make it happen and you shall be victorious in your life.

Your comeback may be so slow that even your biggest fans are starting to lose hope. Don’t you lose hope at all. Right when others have written you off is exactly when God will step in and causes you to flourish. Folks are about to see your rise! God isintending a whole lot of good in your direction!Your latter will be much greater than your former and even your now! God already has your rise written in the script! The book can’t be closed and the story can’t be fully told until God brings you from the background to the forefront! Your come-up is “Heaven-Sealed”! God has His stamp on you!

Maybe God Is Trying To Tell You Something

God, WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO Me? Sometimes God will allow things to happen in your life that you don’t understand. And even though you don’t know why it is happening, He knows why it is happening. He may allow you to go through situations that are not easy to handle or that you thought you would never face in your life, but in the end you find that it was to help you grow up in a particular area in your life and to prepare you for what is to come. Always remember God can’t take you to the next level until He first knows you can handle the level that you are already on. As the scripture says, He guides you, advises you and He watches over you. It’s all in the plan He has for you. “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eyes.”(Psalms 32:8, KJV) Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:28-31) Most if not all of us don’t realize how unique and valuable we are…the reason we are so vulnerable to the fear of rejection is because we’re full of self-doubt. That’s why when criticized by another person; deep down inside we have the doubt.

In the movie “The Color Purple” there were a scene when Shug Avery was singing and walking down with her band singing the blues then suddenly she had heard a Church Choir start to sing Maybe God is Trying To Tell You Something. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” (John 10:11, KJV)That song had start to touch Shug Avery in her spirit and she start to singing the song as well walking the miles always down to her father Church and she had gave her soul back to Christ. God is trying to tell you something. What is he saying to you? Are you listening to him? God is always trying to get our attention. God is putting a calling in our life and we must follow our call. We can try to ignore his calling but He will get you one way or another. You can’t run from him.

We need to ask the Lord to speak to us. When we pray to God we want the Lord to speak to us. We want him to hear our mind. With God word he can heal our soul. He can help us to see when we are blind. When we are lost, God can help us find our way and that is why we need the Lord to speak to us daily and we need to speak to him as well. When you can’t sleep at night and you wonder why you can’t sleep. Then maybe God is trying to tell you something. You had been crying all night long when something had gone wrong then maybe God is trying to tell you something. With the Lord, He’s got to tell you something because God is trying to tell you something right now. We must listen to him when He’s trying to tell us something. He is trying to help you out and want to do great things in your life but we must listen to his will.

God has a purpose for each of you. God is birthing something great in your life. It is the early signs of faith. It is the thirst for more knowledge of God or the Bible. It might be the steps of obedience in following God’s teaching or being an example of Jesus. God may want to help you with exploring of how to use gifts and be passion in service. He wants you to keep in mind that every Christian is a minister and every Christian is a missionary. God may want to birth a new faith filled outlook on work, school, family and the community in whole. Many of us are stuck in fear over what God may say or want with us that we miss the joy of hearing what it may be. It just like when we are in school and the teacher ask you a question but you avoid of being call upon. Please do understand when the teacher call upon you there is a healthy perspective that he/she is not trying to embarrass you but have the desire to teach you and engage with you. That is the only way that we can learn. Even if we get the wrong answer we will learn from picking the wrong answer. That engaging in the learning process is a good thing both for you and your teacher. That also goes with God as well. I believe that it is intimidating and even cause for fear to think that you are on God’s radar. That God may be trying to get your attention and even tell you something. By reading his word that it will be helpful to reduce your fear to proclaim that God is doing so out of love and purpose, and that part of God’s message is “Don’t Be Afraid.” “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10, KJV) In your life what might God desire to birth in your life, for his glory? It doesn’t have to be big, but may be a small step of faithfulness or obedience on your part. It may be a change of behavior or a reaching out to another or an act of grace and kindness. It may be a renewed commitment to husband or wife, or to participate in a community of faith. God is trying to get your attention. He also is trying to say something to you.

Clean Your Mind

“Everyone takes a shower to get rid of the dirt on their physical bodies. So, doesn’t it only make sense to clean your mind from all of the negative garbage from the outside world?” ~~John Di John Lemme

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to pulling down of strongholds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” (2 Cor. 10:4-5, KJV)

Everyone takes a shower to get rid of the dirt on their physical bodies. So, doesn’t it only make sense to clean your mind from all of the negative garbage from the outside world?  Think about that if we take a shower to clean the dirt of our body then why we can’t clean all of the negative thoughts out of our mind. Negative thoughts are nothing but dirt and poison in our mind. It clogs our mind from preventing positive things in our mind. When things especially negative things clog your mind, it doesn’t allow you to think the right things and continue through life effectively. Put things in priority and do those things first. Once that thing is done, you don’t have to think or dwell on that anymore. Keep doing that and before you know it, your mind is free and clear. When you have negative thoughts you are your own prisoners of negativity. Too bad our minds don’t have a delete button. It is very important that we need to cleanse the inner vessel because it affects our outer appearance. You are getting rid of that garbage in your mind.

Do you know that negative thoughts usually are the center on what has already happened in the past and what might happen in the future?  Some people keep on holding on what had happen to them in their past and worry what might happen in their future. You need to move on from the past and don’t let it hold you back. If you stay in your past you will miss out on the greatness in your future. For you to experience a great future you can’t hold on to your past just let it go.“Behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19, KJV) You need to invest yourself in the present. Just concentrate on the now only so you won’t waste time in worrying about the past and the future. By only present on only in now you are prepared to just experience the present. Nobody knows what the future holds for them just focus on the present. God will work it out for you.

Another negative thought that people are experiencing in their life is lack of confidence. I had heard individuals that I can’t do this. They had made up in their mind without trying and saying that I can’t. You can change that negative thoughts into “I can do this” or Yes I can.” You see how positive that statement is. All you have to do is take “I Can’t” from your mind and from your vocabulary list. Remember I can do all things through Christ Jesus that strengthen me.  Another word we need to clear from our mind is “Impossible.” All you have to do is replace the word Impossible with “I am Possible.” You see how powerful that statement is. Another example is think about a runner is about to run in a race and he/she think and said that “I’m not going to win this race,” change that thinking into “I choose to be a winner!” By doing this you are building up your confidence and help steer your mind from a negative mindset into a positive mindset. You are heading in the right direction. With God help he will direct your steps in the right direction.

Negative thoughts can cause such devastating effects in all areas of life. People don’t like to be around somebody that is always negative. On a job if you are negative then your co workers will do their best to avoid you. They will not want to be around you when you are grumpy. If you are the type of person that always complaining about something on your job people will only come to you if dealing with work otherwise they don’t want to be bother with you. Your negative thinking will make people feel very uncomfortable to be around you. Negativity can affect you internally as well. They can pervade every single bit of your life and will prevent great things coming your way. Negativity will make your life more difficult than it needs to be. Negative thoughts are helping your mind make you to have self doubt. Negative thoughts is poison and garbage in your mind. Negative thoughts can put a serious damage to your decision making skills as well. It can prevent you from doing the things you’ve always wanted to do and from saying the things you want to say. That’s not much of a life anyone really want to live by. You don’t have to let negativity take over your life. You can prevent it by changing the way of your thinking. Change is very important in everybody life if we want to experience great things. Don’t let change break you, but embrace it, and let it make you. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Cor 5:17 KJV) God wants you to move up a level, but you must first build a staircase of change to get there. If you embrace the new changes in your life by changing the way of your thinking then you can start living a life that is more meaningful and be happier as well.

If  you want to have a more progress life then you need to change your mindset from a negative one to a positive one. Here are several tips on how to think positively:

1. Display a more positive emotional and mental attitude toward yourself, to other people and situations.
2. Refuse to participate in negative inner dialogues. It’s just a waste of time and energy.
3. Don’t allow disappointments, difficulties and obstacles affect your moods and state of mind.
4. Refuse and reject negative thinking. Either replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts, or engage yourself in some activity that will divert your attention from the negative thoughts.
5. Don’t allow what people think and say affect your mind and mood.
6. Associate with people who bring something of value into your life. Avoid people who sap your energy and enthusiasm. If you can’t avoid them, learn how stay detached when you are in their company.
7. Say positive things about yourself and about other people.
8. Share this positive message with someone.

By you sharing this with someone you are helping others as well. Remember being negative can be contagious. Being positive in your life can be contagious to someone in their life as well. You are spreading that powerful energy to others. Just remember that you need to take a mental shower to clean all of those negative thoughts out of your mind. You should be wondering who is in your surroundings that you need to be around with or who do you need to delete from your life.

God Removes A Person From Your Life For Protection

“Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.”             (Psalm 119:165, KJV)

God often removes a person from your life for your protection. You need to think about that the next time you are chasing after them. Toxic relationships usually are very poison and negative. Toxic comes in different forms. They come in Talkers, Dream Killers, Obstructionists, Frenemies and Carrot Danglers.  Being in a toxic relationship is not healthy and it can do serious harm to your health. Usually people who are toxic are not happy with themselves. They are also not living a positive life. They will try to drag you down along with them. They always blame everybody for their problems except of taking responsibility themselves. They don’t have any confidence in themselves. They are very abusive mentally and physically. Most time they know that they are treated you like crap but they tried to use the mind games on you and tried to blame you for it to turn the blame off them. They are very miserable and tried to bring you down. They tried to take an advantage of you. They don’t have any respect for you whatsoever. Most of the time we know what’s going on but even we are in denial or believe that is the only relationship that we could have. There are 5 Toxic Relationships That You Should Avoid:

Talkers – All they do is talk and talk is cheap. They promise but don’t deliver. They say they’re going to do something and they don’t do it. Relying on them leads to unnecessary frustration. Talkers can be anybody. However, they can only hurt you if you allow them.

Dream Killers – They kill dreams. But you only share your dreams with those close to you. Therefore, what their comments usually carry more weight than a stranger’s would. Some dream killers are innocent and faithless; some are just jealous and malicious. Avoid them.

Obstructionists – They oppose you at all costs, even if it’s for reasons other than principle. They sometimes change their opinion based on where you stand, not where they stand. In other words, they’re jealous, spineless people who don’t want you to succeed. These people are tough to break away from because we often feel that we have to work with these people. In many cases, we do but once you recognize this person for who he or she is, cut that person loose.

Frenemies – Frenemies are enemies who masquerade as friends until they feel threatened. Frenemies feel superior to their “friends.” They may even appear friendly by helping you – as long as it doesn’t threaten their position. But once you try to improve yourself and your “friend” feels threatened, the enemy inside of them takes over. They are very competitive and always want to beat you at their game. Don’t play their game.

Carrot Danglers – This person preys on the desperate and usually has the keys to something that’s really close to you – money, family, helping you with something in the past. This person uses this to make you feel indebted to them. They dangle this carrot to hold you hostage while only benefiting themselves. Regardless of how this person can help you, the psychological damage they cause outweighs any benefits they can provide. Avoid them like the plague.

Relationships are life’s hardest part to deal with. Because of sentimentality, it’s hard to cut these people loose. But we must honestly ask ourselves where our relationships are heading. Relationships are like food. Good food helps us but bad food hurts us. To make this a great year we must eliminate the relationships that hurt us and make room for those that will help us. The time is now.

Look How Far You Had Come From

“I don’t feel any ways tired; I’ve come too far from where I started from. Nobody told me that the road would be easy. I don’t believe He brought me this far to leave me.” ~Reverend James Cleveland

The number one reason why people give up so fast is because they tend to look at how far they still have to go, instead how far they have gotten. This statement does speak volume all by itself. People tend to give up so fast especially when if they start on something that needs too much work, if they don’t see results immediately. They don’t think about what they did to make that big achievement they had made. If you keep looking behind you will find the reason to continue on but if you look ahead and see a long way up you’ll tend to give up. Some people are scare to fail. Sometimes you have to fail a thousand times to succeed. Failure is your teacher that will teaches you to how to succeed. Regardless of how many mistakes that you will make or how slow your progress are, you are still way ahead of everyone who isn’t trying at all. Don’t get upset on that one failed attempt that you miss the opening for many more. All of your ideas that don’t work are simply stepping stones on your way to the one idea that does work. Failure is not falling down but failures are staying down when you have the choice to get back up. Always get back up because often times good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

People often gave up on their dreams because they didn’t have the courage to try. Don’t let someone who gave up on their dreams talk you out of going after yours. The best thing you can do in life is follow your passion and your heart. You must take risks in life to be able to grow. You can’t stay in your comfort zone forever. Don’t just make the safe and easy choices because you’re afraid of what might happen. If you do nothing then you will never know what could have happen. If you keep doing what you’re doing then you’ll keep getting what you’re getting. Let your dreams be bigger than your fears and your actions speak louder than your words.  Your actions do speak volume. Do something every day for your future so you can better yourself and you will be able to Thank God for your outcome.

Great things will come to you if you only believe that is in God designWe are who that we choose to be. Nobody’s going to come and save you.  You are going to have to go save yourself.  Nobody’s going to give you anything. You are going to go out there and work for it.  Nobody knows exactly what you want except for you.And nobody will feel sorry for you because you don’t want to achieve it. Never leave your key to happiness in someone else’s pocket, and don’t wait on someone else to build your dream life for you. Be the architect and keeper of your own happiness. The more you take responsibility for your past and present then the more you are able to create the future that you are looking for.

Change Your Attitude

When you have a flat tire you need to change your tire so you can go to your destination. That also goes for our bad attitude. Just like a flat tire you need to change your bad attitude. A bad attitude toward life is like a flat tire. If you don’t change it, you’ll never go anywhere. When you have a flat tire and you don’t change that flat tire you will not be able to drive your car anywhere. That is the same thing with our attitude. If we have a bad attitude we must change our attitude. If we want God do a new thing in our life we must change our attitude. God wants to do a new thing in our life but we are so stubborn that we don’t want to make that change. If you are always having a bad attitude you will not grow at all. You have to make a choice to change your attitude from a bad one to a good one. That is the only way you will grow in this world. Susan L. Taylor had mention about new things in our lives that “In every crisis there is a message. Crisis is nature’s way of forcing change by breaking down old structures, shaking loose negative habits so that something new and better can take their place.” “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make away in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:19, KJV). Remember that you must make a decision about the 3 C’s of  your life. “The 3 C’s of life: Choices, Chances, Changes –You must make a choice to take a Chance or your life will never change.”

Another choice that we have to make in change is to have a positive attitude. You need to clear your mind because it is filled with so much trash. When things especially negative things will clog your mind because it doesn’t allow you to think the right things and continue through life effectively. You need to put things in priority and do those things first. Once that you had able to accomplished that task then you won’t have to think about that or dwell on those issues anymore. Keep on doing that and before you know it that your mind is free and clear. God knows that there are some things in your life that you need him to change.  “He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him; he also will hear their cry, and will save them.”(Psalm 145:19, KJV) He knows the desire of our hearts. If he knows your desire to change then he will fulfill your desire to change. Back to positive attitude if you have a negative attitude you will not be going nowhere in life. Your attitude has to be a positive one. Changes come in many directions so keep your mind open. “Lets this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:5, King James Version). A change in your behavior starts with a change in your heart. If in your heart that there is no change then your behavior won’t change at all. Don’t be afraid to change. You may lose something good, but you may gain something better. Challenge yourself everyday to do better. Remember, growth starts with a decision to move beyond your present circumstances. “Keep your eyes on God because He is able to give you the change that you need.” Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think….” (Ephesians 3:20, King James Version) If you keep your faith in him and pray about it he will give you the change in your life they you need.
