I Don’t Feel No Ways Tired

“I don’t feel any ways tired; I’ve come too far from where I started from. Nobody told me that the road would be easy. I don’t believe He brought me this far to leave me.” ~Reverend James Cleveland

Reverend James Cleveland had recorded a song “I Don’t Feel No Ways Tired”, in that song he had mentioned that I’m not tired yet and I don’t believe he had brought me this far to leave me. This is a song about faith as a Christian regardless what we are going through in our life we must believe that he wouldn’t have brought us this far just to leave his children.  In the beginning of the song he had spoken about this old lady who had gotten up to say her personal testimony.  In her testimony she had mentioned that she had been running for Jesus for some fifty some-odd years. Then she continued to say that I don’t feel no ways tired. I’ve come too far from where I started from.  Nobody told me that the road would be easy. But I don’t believe he brought me this far to leave me. We all could learn from this old woman’s testimony. She is giving us her wisdom what she had been going through but she hasn’t given up on her faith in God. Just because things don’t go our way like we wanted to we should not throw in the towel. We should not give up because God is always there and he would not leave us. I am rather sure in her days that she had been having a lot of hard times along the way but she knew that whatever happened in her precious life that she knew with her faith in God that He would have made a way for her. There were a lot of Christians that were poor and didn’t have much but they knew that they were blessing because God had always provided for them and they Praise God for his blessings. They did not complain at all but they had shown how grateful they were what God had done for them in their life. What I am trying to say is that we should not complain but thank God for what he had done for us in our lives. He is an awesome God. “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.”(Psalm 37:25, KJV) Even when we had fallen down God is there for us to pick up the pieces. He will not let you figure out your problem by yourself. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighted in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholds him with his hand” (Psalm 37:23-24,KJV) I am sharing this message with you that because you may be feeling that God had turned his back on you, have forsaken and abandoned you. You may not be going through a storm right now but wait your storm will arrive down your road of life. We all have been in our own storms but the Lord will not let you stay in that storm too long because it is only temporary. (Hebrews 13:5, KJV)

Some of us as Christians at this moment have been running for Jesus for a long time. Some of us have come a long ways from where we had started from and realized that the road hasn’t been easy. Some of us had been through some difficult situations. Some of us had been through some pretty life threatening. I can attest to that I was involved in the two attacks at the World Trade Center in New York City. The first incident was in February 1993 when the terrorist had put a bomb in the basement and it had gone off while we were at work. Thank God the Lord had protected me from that situation and had spare my life. The second incident was on September 11, 2001 when the terrorist had flown in two planes into the twin towers that morning. The Lord had protected me again and this time he had allowed me to oversleep that day and make sure that I was not down there on that day. He had spared my life that day and I personally thank God for protecting me in his safety. Those were the biggest storms of my life journey. I could have been dead but the Lord had made sure that I was still here because it was not my time to go home with him. We all could relate to this testimony of that old lady and others that I’ve come too far from where I started from. Nobody told me that the road would be easy. In this praise report of ours we all can say look where we had started from our past and look where we at today. We should all be on our feet and give our God of all our praises. He deserves of all of our praise not our complaints.

Our Steps Are Being Ordered By God

Our steps are being ordered by God. Just like when I go to my favorite Soul Food restaurant. I will order my favorite plate of Fried Catfish with Macaroni and Cheese and collard greens and I will eat as much that I can eat. God will do the same for us when he orders our steps. God know how much steps that we can handle. He will order every step of our lives. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and he delights in his way.” (Psalm 37:23, KJV) Sometimes we have noticed the way that we plan things in our life. Most of them do not happen because we don’t include God in the plan. We are more concerned about things that may never come to pass. There are some of us that will spend half of our time in just worrying about things that doesn’t even matter.  A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.”(Proverbs 16:9, KJV) Our steps are being directed by God. God is our traffic director.

Our paths are also being directed by God. God already knows our path that we must take. The key to unlock the directions to God’s path is by acknowledging Him in all our ways of life. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and he shall direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5, KJV) Many of us think that there is lack of fulfillment in God’s path. That is so far from the truth. Just because we have not seen the abundance that doesn’t mean the path of God are not abundant. “You crown the year with your goodness, and your paths drip with abundance.”(Psalm 65:11, KJV) When we are walking in God’s path then we are heading towards abundance. It may not feel like it or it may not look like it right now but in the Word of God had mention that God’s path drip  with that abundance. You should not let Satan talk you out of the Word of God. Our God is not lacking at all. God is a god of abundance. God paths drip with abundance. Your own desires should be is that you want to be in God’s path because his word is final.

Walking In God’s Path Toward Your Destination

“A man’s hearty deviseth his way: but the Lord directs his steps.”(Proverbs 16:9, KJV)

“Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” (Matthew 7:14, KJV)

A lot of us don’t know what path that we want to take. Some of us is even lost because we are so lost and don’t know what direction to take in our life. We will found ourselves waking up from our bed morning after morning just staring at the ceiling. We are wondering where is our life is taking us. There are times that we will all had experience some level of doubt about where we are headed and in what direction our next steps should take us in life. The question that we should be asking ourselves; “What Path Am I going to take in my journey of life?” The answer to that question is for us to have the desire of walking in God’s Path toward our destination. “Thus saith the Lord, thy Reedemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.” (Isaiah 48:17, KJV) If you had experience that your life is lost because you are headed off track, out of purpose, and driven you apart from your dreams given by God, visions or goals then it is very important that you communicate with God in helping you for his guidance to get you back on his path toward your destination.

We as Christians should have a sense of our destination. We should be heading toward God’s Path or God’s direction heading toward an inspire goal by Him. We do that by commit to discovering in God given destiny because with God on our side it is never too late to discover our path to purpose. That’s wonderful news to cherish that with. In life we all are going to face times of challenge, difficult, transition and chaos in our lives. During those issues we have to allow God to takes us through the process and to accept those trials and tribulations by through that power of his grace that we might be experiencing in our lives. When you begin to feel down on the inside that you know it is time to seek God’s guidance in order to get on the path to the destination of your destiny given by God. Even in death in itself is a part of life. Death simply means that this part of our journey has come to an end. What matters and what is important is how we arrived at our destination. What path did we take to get there? How did we live our life? We should be rejoicing when one of God’s children makes it home from this journey on earth. However it is not really resting in peace because in heaven there is going to be an eternal celebration with the Lord. So my brother and sister in Christ when it is your time to join that heavenly celebration that you are rejoicing from your labor down here in this world had ended and we can rejoice with the Lord.

God has a path for each of us if we only make the effort to take that first step. We do that by developing a relationship with God along the way. That is very important for us to develop a relationship with him so we can take the right path with God so we can reach our destination in life. God wants to see you to take that first step by saying Yes to your will Lord and I will do that for you dear Lord. Also he wants us to reach out for his hand and say that “I can’t do this alone.” When you had accomplished those things then you will be on that yes path to God and you will be more dependent on Him. With that right path to God you will find that is an exciting and life changing place to be. “Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.” (Psalm 143:10, KJV) By us having a new perspective of God’s destiny for us having so much freedom. We can have that freedom by going to our secret closet and communicate with God. In our communication with God we need to tell him that Dear Lord, I want to say yes to what you ask of me. Please help me to have the courage to take the necessary steps on the path that will leads to a closer walk with you in Jesus’ Name. Amen! That request should be in our daily prayer. “And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” (Psalm 139:24, KJV)

Time To Let Go Of Your Past

There is a time when you need to let go when you know that you should. Sometimes you have to be strong for yourself. Love is worth fighting for, but you can’t be the only one fighting.  People need to fight for you too.  If they don’t then you eventually have to move on and realize that what you gave them was more than they were willing to give you. Some relationships and situations just can’t be fixed. If you tried to force someone to go back to a toxic relationship then it will only get worse.  Holding on is being brave but letting go and moving on is often what makes us stronger and happier. You need to make a decision to embrace the next step in your life. You can either hold on to the past or you can create your own happiness today.  Never let success get to your head and never let failure get to your heart.  Every day is a new beginning and a new ending.  Embrace it, make the best of it, smile, and keep looking straight ahead.  And don’t forget, a smile doesn’t always mean a person is happy right now; sometimes it simply means they are strong enough to face their problems going forward. And remember that your mind is your private sanctuary; do not allow the negative beliefs of others to occupy it.  Your skin is your barrier; do not allow others to get under it.  Take control of your boundaries and what you allow yourself to absorb from others. Never let someone’s opinion become your reality.  Never sacrifice who you are because someone else has a problem with it.  Love the person that who you are on the inside and on the outside.  No one else has the power to make you feel small unless you give them that power to do it.  You are the only one who can create your happiness.

Whatever had happened to you in your past is in the past. No matter how chaotic the past has been for you, your future is a clean fresh start and wide open slate. You are not your past habits or your past failures. You are not how others have at one time treated you. You are only who you think you are right now in this moment. You are only what you do right now at this moment. Don’t let your past hold you in the past. Don’t let your past guide you. Don’t become a slave to your past. Let go of the past and move on to your future. Dream and give yourself permission to envision a new you that you will choose to be that you know that you can be.” Please do focus on what you have and not on what you don’t have in your life. You are who you are and you have what you have right now. It can’t be that bad at all otherwise without God in your life you will not be here right now. You are blessed and most people will love to be in your shoes right now. Just be grateful what you do have and think of something that will inspires you to move forward. Hold on to your faith in God and focus on his blessings. God will provide. You may feel that you don’t have much or anything at all but you are in your right mind that will inspire you. God is all that you need to help you to move forward in your life.

Good Relationship Don’t Just Happen

This is an Excerpt from my book “Walking In God’s Path Toward Your Destination Volume 2” Building A Personal Relationship With Him.

Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.” (Colossians 1:28, KJV)

Good relationships don’t just happen. They take time, patience, and two people who truly want to be together. That goes for personal or business. We as Christians have relationship with God. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.”(Genesis 6:9, KJV) Relationship don’t just happen overnight. Relationship is a connection, association or an involvement. In any relationship start to blossoms you have to get to know the person. Building relationship is hard work and selfless act but it is worth the effort if you work at it.

When you are dating someone you are looking to get to know that person and hopefully start to be in a relationship. Relationship does not happen overnight. Relationship is about love, communication, time, trust, honesty and patience. Communication is the key components of relationship. Without communication you will not have a relationship. That is part of life. When you’re starting to date someone, you don’t jump straight into a relationship. First you need to go out on a date. When you go out on a date you will get a chance to know each others. You will both know what yours like and dislike. You will know about each others family, careers, hobbies and even religion beliefs. You do all of that by communicate with each others. If the person you are going on date with don’t want to talk to you then you are wasting your time. You also will have to spend some times with each others. If you want to be trusted then you have to be honest with each others. As you getting to know each other you while you are dating then you will know if that relationship will blossom are not. If that relationship does blossom then you will know that the both of you are falling in love with each other and that when you are in a relationship. When someone that you are dating tell you that we are seeing each others but we are not exclusive. Usually they don’t want to be in no relationship all they want from you is what you have to offer. At that point you should run away from that person and don’t look back. You deserve better do not settle for anything. If that person doesn’t have any respect for you then that is not the person for you. You deserve the same respect that you have given to them. Don’t let anybody tell you any difference. Another thing about being in a relationship with someone usually you will have things in common. You always will learn something new about each others. Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (Amos 3:3, KJV)

Having relationship with God you have to put some work in it. You got to get to know him. You have to spend a lot of time with God daily. “Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.”(1 Corinthians 7:24, KJV) You get to know him by talking to him through prayers. You need to read your bible daily. There is so many way of reading God Words. You read bible the book itself. You can read the bible online. You now can read it on your IPhone or Android Phone. You can also read the bible on the IPad.  You can also get access on Social Media such as Facebook, YouTube and Google Plus. With technology today you can read the bible in different format. There are no excuses why you don’t read your Bible. Go to Church to fellowship with others Christians. God want us Christians to fellowship with one another. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” (Acts 2:42, KJV) With any good relationships it takes a lot of work. Its takes time and patience. You have to work at it and then you will develop good relationships either it is personal, professional or your relationship with God.

I Can Do All Things Through Christ That Strengthen Me

This is an excerpt from my book “Walking In God’s Path Toward Your Destination Volume 1” To Change Your Mindset.

“I Can Do All Things Through Christ Which Strengthened Me.”  (PHILIPPIANS 4:13, KJV)

This is one of my favorite scriptures in the Holy Bible. This is a confirmation that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  Whatever what we are dealing with God will help us. We have to realize that regardless how bad the situation is, it’s only a temporary situation. In this particular scripture “Philippians 4:13” I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  With that Good News we should believe in that every day. It didn’t say little things or half things but all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me. For some of us that we always worry about things that we can’t control. We don’t have faith in Christ and always think the worse could happen to us. We are scare that we are going to fail. We got to have faith in ourselves that we can achieve in anything that we want. We have to remember that with faith, knowing that the impossible will be possible without seeing it just by believing it.

We have to speak in our mind that I can do all things through Jesus Christ. We got to  have a positive mindset to succeed in life. Inner conversation determines outer results. Watch what you say to yourself. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something when the bible says you can do all things through Christ. You know us as Christian we have to stop talking about Faith when we don’t have anything to back it up. We have to stop saying we have in Faith In God at all when most of us have doubt him for whatever reason it may be in life that we ask him. The Bible Say “FAITH WITHOUT WORKS ARE DEAD.” (James 2:26,KJV)
And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him, and said unto him, “O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? (Matthew 14:31, KJV) Secondly we know there are a lot of people in the cemetery we care so much about are there. So what is going wrong in our Churches today as I can see for myself people have gave up on God and what little Faith they have. But I want to thank god for the faith he gave unto me. I could personally attest to this statement. I was going through a personal challenge in my life and I thought my life was over but with my Faith in God I can testify that not only that my life is not over, also he had show me that when one door is closed another door will open for you. You just got to believe in that. Just because things doesn’t go your way that’s doesn’t mean that you are a failure. Sometimes God have a better plan for you. We should not let a job or education define us. We have so many talents or gifts that we doesn’t realized what we have. That’s why it is so important to follow your passions. Life is a gamble. You got to take those “big chances”, even if you go broke; you’ll recover for sure…that’s living life. I had gotten this quote from my friend Dartel McRae who is a talented Actor in the New York City area. It’s have a lot of truth. If you don’t take risk or chances you will never know what you can achieve. Even if it doesn’t work out you are not a failure because you had tried. It’s just like playing the lottery. They always say that for you to win that big prize you have to be in it to win it. If you don’t play the lottery then you won’t win it at all. That goes for taking chances for your dream. You have to make it happen and speak it in your life that I can do all things through Christ that strengthen me.

You can bounce back from anything. We all have to deal with trials and tribulations. And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me. “Therefore are they which came out of great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more neither thirst anymore; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters. And God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.” (Revelation 7:14-17, KJV) “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; But rejoice in as much as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.”(1 Peter 4:12, KJV) You have been through a lot but you are still standing for a reason. Now thanks be Unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledgeby us in every place.”(2 Corinthians 2:14, KJV) Even we go through with our problems we still have to Praise Him in Advance for us to receive our blessings. You may lose your job, your home, having problem with your finances or dealing with sickness but you can bounce back. What we are dealing with is only a test. We have gone through a test to see how we can overcome our struggles. We can’t give up because what we are dealing with is only a temporary situation.

There is one word that we have to learn not use in our vocabulary. That word is “Impossible”. Impossible means that it is not possible, not able to be done or it’s difficult. We have to learn not keeping on telling ourselves that we can’t achieve anything. That is not true. If we have the determination, we can do anything that we put our mind to. Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is Impossible, but with God all things are Possible.” (Mathew 19:26, King James Version) In Christ everything that we want to achieve in our life it is possible. Just like in Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Jesus Christ. We have to believe it and claim it in our daily life. There must be a Yes I Can attitude mindset. To have that mindset we must take out negative words out of our vocabulary. If you take the word Impossible and take out the letters “IM” you will turn that word to “Possible.” Same with the word can’t and take out the letter “t” you will change that to “Yes You Can.” If you take those letters of those two negatives words you will make the first step of changing the way of thinking. You will have confidence in yourself. My friend Gloria smith had told me the message she got from the word “Impossible” that “I’m possible”. If you change that word around you will get a new message out of that word. “Everything is possible for him who believes” (Mark 9:23, KJV)

Key To Your Success Is To Change Your Mindset

“And I came this day unto the well, and said, O Lord God of my master Abraham, if now thou do prosper my way which I go.”(Genesis 24:42, KJV)
Your success is right there at this moment. Success is right in front of everyone but the difference between people who reach their success and people who don’t comes down to desire. It comes down to how bad you really want it. If you are just casually going about your business you are going to just have casual success which is really no success at all.
When you get and have that aggressive attitude then that attitude will say no matter what gets in my way, I am just going to move it to the side and move on until I reach the success I desire. If you have that attitude then you will be able to get anything you want. Whoever told you that you couldn’t do something with your life needs to go in a corner somewhere and sit down. You can do anything that you want and be anything that you want. You can be successful like starting your own business, finishing college, learning a new trade, starting an organization and whatever. Yes You Can! You really can. Success starts in the mind. It’s a mental attitude. It’s a lifestyle. It doesn’t just happen overnight you will have to make it happen. I have found that success begins with an “I can” attitude. Failure refers to the state or condition of not meeting a desirable or intended objective, and may be viewed as the opposite of success. Product failure ranges from failure to sell the product to fracture of the product, in the worst cases leading to personal injury and the province of engineering. Failure can be differentially perceived from the viewpoints of the evaluators. A person who is only interested in the final outcome of an activity would consider it to be an Outcome Failure if the core issue has not been resolved or a core need is not met. A failure can also be a process failure whereby although the activity is completed successfully, a person may still feel dissatisfied if the underlying process is perceived to be below expected standard or benchmark.
1. Failure to anticipate
2. Failure to perceive
3. Failure to carry out a task
Loser is a derogatory term for a person who is (according to the standards of the observer) generally unsuccessful.
If you are not successful then act like you are. If you not confident then act like you are. If you not happy then act like you are. Being in business is not easy thing and many business owners are not where they want to be right now in their lives. But one of the ways that can help an entrepreneur to get where he/she needs to go is act like they are already there enjoy the fruit of their labor. The way you do this to become mentally in your mind the person you know you will eventually become. So always stay positive. If you are not where you at right now then act like you are so you can prepare what you want to happen later on. “For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you that it was not in vain.” (1 Thessalonians 2:1, KJV) For you to be successful you will have to make some serious choices in your life. The most important choice that you will have to make to be successful in your life is to take “Action”. You just can’t talk about it and just sit there and don’t do anything about it. You will not be successful if you don’t take any action. Actions speak louder than words. Let your words teach and your action speaks for itself. Being successful is not going being easy; you will have to work hard for it. “For as the body without the spirit is dead, Also faith without works is dead also.”(James 2:26, KJV) Let me make this simple for you “Faith without Works (Action) is dead.” Faith without works is not only dealing with having faith in God but it also dealing with everyday life in this world. You got to have faith. You will have to make things happen in your life for you to be successful. ImageK

You Have A Lot To Be Thankful For

You have a lot to be thankful for. Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of bless people that had overcome what they were dealing with. Sometimes you have to forget what’s gone in your life and appreciate what still remains in your life. You must look forward to what’s coming next. Even when times are tough, it’s always important to keep things in perspective. You didn’t go to sleep hungry last night. You have a bed to sleep on.You have a roof over your head. You have a choice of what clothes to wear this morning. You hardly broke a sweat today. You didn’t spend a minute in fear. You have access to clean water. You have access to medical care. You have access to the Internet. You can read. Some might say you are incredibly wealthy so remember to be grateful for all the things you do have. Complaining has become a way of life for many people. Some people aren’t happy unless they are complaining. They complain about every little thing. When things aren’t going our way we start to complain. When God doesn’t answer our prayers when we want Him to or how we want Him to then we start to complain. When we aren’t the center of attention then we start to complain. When the sun shines and the day is hot then we will say, “It’s too hot.” When God sends the rain to cool us down we complain about it ruining our plans that we may have for outside activities. No matter what our situation are we seemed to found something to complain about. There is a gospel song that Reverend Paul Jones had recorded “I won’t complain.” In the song that I like the most is that we may have some good days, some hills to climb, some weary days and some sleepless nights but when I look around and I think things over all of my good days outweigh my bad days I won’t complain. The Lord has been so good to me. He’s been good to me more than this old world or you could ever be. He’s been good to me. I just want to thank you Lord. This is a personal testimony for many because we all can relate how God had been good to us and that why we can’t complain. That is why we all should be thankful to God what he had done for us. We may not have everything that we want in our life but we are so blessed because most people who don’t have anything wish they had what we have. It may not be much but we all should be grateful to God.

Not always getting what you want can be a blessing in disguise. Not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of good luck because it forces you reevaluate things and be able to exploring to opening new doors to opportunities and information you would have otherwise overlooked. “And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” (1 Chronicles 4:10, KJV) Sometimes we don’t get everything that we wants because God have something better for us and it is his way of showing us in disguise. It is a blessing that is provided by our heavenly father God. We think that God doesn’t answer our prayer but actually he is preparing something better for us. God has a purpose for all of us. He knows what we really need in our lives. Something that we do ask for is not always good for us and for that he will not grant that to us. He knows what is best for us. As a Christians we need to see life as a series of problem solving and learning experiences of opportunities. The problems that we are dealing with will either overpower us or will help to develop us.The path of our joy is determined how we respond to them. Most people will not see God in the picture and fail to put God in their life. Instead on focusing on the problem God want to use our problem for good to make us stronger for our personal growth and make us to be an instrument to help others. That is what I mean about just because that God don’t grant what we want that doesn’t mean he don’t hear our prayer.

Don’t Be Attached To Your Past

Most people are too attached to the past, to what they are familiar with, and therefore, miss opportunities that stand right in front of them. Doors may close but there are always new doors that will open that will reach to our new opportunities. The world is full of opportunities, if we could only see them. The Infinite Power is boundless, and so the possibilities are without number. At some point in our life we had all made mistakes, been walked on, had been used and forgotten. We’ve let people take advantage of us, and we have accepted way less than we deserve in our lives. But we shouldn’t regret one moment of it because in those precious moments we must learn from bad choices that we had made. We have learned who we can trust and who we can’t. We have learned the true meaning of friendship.  We’ve learned how to tell when people are lying to us in our face and when they’re very sincere.  We have learned how to be ourselves and appreciate the great people that had come into our lives. The great things that had blossom in our lives that came from the Lord. That is truly a gift from him. Even though there are some things that we can never recover and people who will never be sorry for the way that they had treated us. That hard life lesson we now know better for the next time.

Some people don’t appreciate what they have in their lives. In every mistake and struggle there is a message. Some people miss the message because they’re too busy berating themselves for the mistake that they had made or fretting over their problem. To be upset about what you don’t have is always a waste of what you do have.  We as Christian don’t believe that we are the luckiest people in the world to be happy. We usually don’t have the best of everything in the world but we just make the most of everything that comes our way because we know that the Lord had bless us. We are thankful that the Lord had made a way out of no way. The reason so many people give up is because they tend to look at what’s missing and how far they still have to go, instead of what’s present, and how far they have come. You need to focus on what you have and not on what you don’t have. When you appreciate in what you do have and what you have appreciates in value.  Being grateful for the goodness that is already evident in your life will bring you a deeper sense of happiness. And that’s without having to go out and buy or acquire anything new.  It makes sense.  You will have a hard time ever being happy if you aren’t thankful for what you already have.

You need to focus on being the best that you can be. Give it your all in everything that you do and commit to your goals. Please do yourself a favor do not compare yourself to anybody else.John Wooden had said in his quote “Success and happiness is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to do your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming.”  Never try to be better than anyone else, but never stop trying to be the best you can be.  If you feel called to compare yourself to someone, compare yourself to an earlier version of yourself.

Some people feel that they aren’t ready because they aren’t good enough yet. Nobody ever feels 100% ready when an opportunity arises in their lives. Opportunities do not wait for nobody. You need to chase after those opportunities. Most great opportunities in life force us to grow beyond our comfort zones. We won’t feel totally comfortable at first but that is normal because that is part of life when we tried something new. You have to get out of that comfort zones or being safe because you will not be able to experience that growth. Stop berating yourself for being a work in progress. We are all in a work in progress that is part of growing in life. Every day I am in work in progress thank God I am not what I used to be. Start embracing your new growth because being a work in progress doesn’t mean you’re not good enough today. It does shows that you do want a better tomorrow and you wish to love yourself so that you can live your life to the fully.  It means you’re determined to heal your heart, expand your mind and cultivate the gifts you know you’re meant to share with others. That is what the Lord does command for us. With God on your side you know now that you are ready.  You just need to start and stop making excuses. There is never a right time you just need to start.

Always have a great positive attitude. What often screws us up the most in life is the picture in our head of how it’s supposed to be.  And the reason so many of us give up is because we tend to look at how far we still have to go, instead of how far we have come.  Remember, life is a journey, not a destination. This moment, like every moment, is a priceless gift and an opportunity.  Be positive, smile, and make it count. Pretend today is going to be great.Do so and it will be.Although we think that we act because of the way we feel, in fact, we often feel because of the way we act.  A great attitude always leads to great experiences.

People Are Like Music

“Where unto I am an ordained preacher and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ and lie not,) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.” (1Timothy 2:7 K JV)

People are like music. Some speak the truth while others are just noise. People do a lot of talking but don’t put it into actions. A person had came toward me and told me that they will give me a call because they were interesting in the service that I provide. Of course that person had never called me. I do not get impressed with individuals who tell me that they will call me either in business or personally. Talk is so cheap. If you going to do something don’t talk about it just do it. In music when you hear a song, some songs are very encouraging and empowering while other songs are negative or toxic.  That the same way with people. Some people will tell you the truth if you want to hear it or not and others will lie to you just to make you happy. (Psalms 119: 137-144) it will tell you about the truth.

The only people mad at you for speaking the truth are those living a lie. Keep speaking the truth because it will make you free. Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him. “If you abide in my word, you are my disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”(John 8:31-32, KJV) Individuals are always in denial. They don’t want to hear the truth. Some of them are living a lie. They tried to have you believe that they are better than you but that it’s nothing but a lie. They look down on you but they really are angry about themselves. They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can you say, You will be made free’?”Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not able in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”(John 8:33-36, KJV) When once you start lying to people you won’t stop lying. You will be keeping on lying to someone that you don’t even remember what lies that you had told. You are trap in your own lies. Lies do hurts not only its hurt other people, it’s also will hurt yourself as well. That’s why it is the best to tell the truth because it will set you free. Nobody does not like to be lie to. That’s even goes for relationship or dating. When you are involved with someone honesty is very important in both ways. I was dealing with someone several years ago. They were very toxic, had told so many lies that they didn’t remember what lies was told. They really didn’t want to be bother with me but they only wanted what I had. I had seen the truth about that person and they tried to make it my fault. I did not fall for that trap. I had got away from that person in a hurry and did not look back. When you see that someone is lying to you it is best that you cut tides with that person. They do not have your back at all.

My favorite lies that people have told me that you know that I care about you. And I respond back “No I don’t know that, you will have to show me proof by your action.” You should not have to tell someone that you care about them all you have to do is to show them. That’s also goes for you. You sure not have to wait for someone to tell you that a person care about you all they have to do is to show you.  That’s also the same thing when you are in love with someone. If you are not in love with that person, tell them the truth and don’t pretend that you do.You will know when someone is in love with you. They don’t have to tell you because you will already know it. My advice is to you is don’t pay any attention to their words but by their actions.
