About This Book:

The Committee is a beguiling tale that twirls Illuminati conspiracy, New Orleans voodoo, American politics and a subplot gay affair in a delicious twist of turbulence and turmoil. We find out that the secret society behind the country’s biggest political ploys is a mysterious New Orleans family of Creole women who head “The Committee.” It is they who in fact control the men mistaken to be the country’s power figures! “The Committee” has selected every US president since James Monroe and controls much of the country’s economy. When they make the decision that the United States is not only ready for a Black woman president, but also select her, the phrase, ‘hell hath no fury like a woman scorned’ takes on new and insidious meaning. Camille Ernestine Hardaway is the first African American female mayor of Los Angeles and she has it all – stunning good looks, power, a seemingly devoted husband and influential allies. “The Committee” has decided that she will be the first Black female president of the United States and will stop at nothing to ensure their rising candidate reaches the White House. Author Terry E. Hill sublimely works hypnosis with the written word as he winds the reader deeper down a sinister black hole with each chapter. The Committee’s lethal combination of manipulation, intimidation, mysticism and murder make for the most intoxicating political thriller.

The Committee Book Review:

This is the fourth book I read by Mr. Terry E. Hill. This enthusiastic narrative,“The Committee” takes readers on a fascinating promenade of manipulation and power and what some will do in order to get what they want. As I have come to expect from this Author moves from the narration of the Mega Church(Sunday Morning Trilogy) to the Office of the Mayor. Mr. Hill draw a picture for the readers contiguously that Mayor Camille Hardaway’s office is simply a  ways and means to the central character authentic enthusiasm. This is one lady that you don’t want to cross at all. She is lethal and deadly. Camille isn’t playin’, nor are the backers from the secret organizations “The Committee.”  This top secret organization always get what they want and anybody gets in their way will paid dearly. In the process of expecting from this gifted author, “The Committee” proceeds to take us on a compelling leap of double-dealing and power, and for some individuals will do anything to get what they want. Gideon Truman, an Investigation Reporter who is great at his job and passionate about what he does but have to  counterbalance his life reflective about those he cares dearly. He was the one that exposed the truth about Reverend Hezekiah Cleveland’s murder committed by his own wife Samantha. Now Mayor Camille Hardaway is on his radar. Not only she is a big time figure politicians but she also demands respect and always accustomed to getting what she wants—- but at what costs? The tug of war between Gideon and Camille is interfered with at times because of the secret society of The Committee. We will discover how the members of The Committee are able to take action and bring into play its own or will the stakes be transformed into higher dangers for anyone who might cause them troubles. In this urban novel, “The Committee”  create the impression to have it all: the family and companionable drama the reader will witness playing out in the world today, the power struggles that are seen and unseen around us and the individuals who allow to go along with taking the chance risking everything for the sake of the truth: whether they can legitimately triumph when all is said and done or not. I definitely truly endorsed this is the book surely to acquire readers communicate extensive after they finished reading.  THE COMMITTEE is literary turbulence of cliff-hanger and self-indulgence from beginning to end.
