The Christmas Promise Book Review

“The Christmas Promise” written by Sean Young is an enjoyable read for the Christmas season. Sean Young really knows how to create an engaging Christmas romance story. This is another installment of the McClendon Family Series . The readers will be drawn into Simeon and Jen’s story and you really want things to work out for them. She launch just the right magnitude of delightful passion to her stories without going completely over the top. The story of Simeon and Jennifer was well-done of love that was lost and then surface again .The character of Jennifer McClendon story is set around the Christmas season, when everything should be joyful and easy-going. Being a single mother of twins, Jennifer has everything but being happy, an opportunity to meet up again with a past friend turns her life around. Well written story with define and complex characters. Sean Young makes sure that the characters in “The Christmas Promise” were well drawn in this simple to read. I also enjoy reading about the characters who make realistic mistakes, but who take the opportunity to improve their lives and the lives of their loved ones. We can learn from these characters and learn to be patience, understanding and forgiveness. Miscommunication can really lead to heartache. As a consequence of create assumptions can be even worst. Communication is the key for relationship to stay blossoms. Although Simeon and Jennifer persevered. A beautiful conclusion to complete their wonderful romance story. As a reader, I love happy endings, but also a perseverance that makes sense. A marvelous Christmas narrative about the power of forgiveness, understanding and patience.

About This Book:

aaeaaqaaaaaaaaiqaaaajdblyzmzmzhhlthkyzgtngeyzi04n2jhlta3mjjizgq4ote3oqHolidays haven’t been the same for Derek Washington since his divorce. Couple By Christmas Book Review

“Coupled By Christmas” is a beautiful story of love, faith and reconciliation. I always love reading books by this great author, Pat Simmons because she always let God guide the pen to created wonderful stories with well developed characters to minister to the readers through the story. Her stories is always inspirational with the purpose to make the narrative God-Centered. Even though “Coupled By Christmas” is a fiction book and also very entertaining still there’s everlastingly a message of The redeeming work of Christ. Pat Simmons acquire the tasks from the Holy Spirit by created a beautiful Christmas story about healing and reconciliation. I enjoyed the Characters of Derek and Robyn’s  Washington because even though they were divorced but they made the decisions to be co- parents to their son Tyler. Tyler Washington had made me laugh so hard. He loved both of his parents unconditional and smart for his age. Nothing get past him.  Derek and Robyn’s still was on their journey to let go of their past hurt and anger so they can allow God to do his wonder working power. Both Derek and Robyn’s mothers preach the words to them that they didn’t give their marriages a chance to last. They both were stubborn that they missed each others and still in love with each other. I found “Coupled By Christmas” is an uplifting Christmas story not only about romance but it was about the birth of baby Jesus Christ. This uplifting story is also about the sacred of Marriage. Derek mentioned that Marriages doesn’t have to fail if husbands and wives have God on their side. Both Robyn and Derek admitted that they walk away from their blessings of marriage but the devil is a liar. The devil tried to break up their marriage. Just like them, we as Christians must protect the blessings of our marriages ordained by God. God can restore the marriage if you allow God to restores your heart, mind and soul. Derek and Robyn were willing to make God the center for a testimony that marriages between a man and a woman to succeed. They were willing to let the void out of that dark celebration with a joyful celebration by getting remarried on the anniversary of their divorce. Robyn and Derek allows themselves to use the power of forgiveness and letting go of their past hurts. I believe that they actually shown growth not only in their faith in God but also in their marriages. Through their experiences, they were able to minister to other couples who are dealing with havoc in their marriages. If you are looking for a great Christmas story based on Scriptures, healing, restoration and the main focus about the birth of Jesus Christ.

C is For Christmas  Book Review:

In consideration of the season of Advent which is just in a couple weeks.  I would like to share with you what I examine in the Advent Devotional for Adults “C Is For Christmas”. This Advent Devotional is a great tools that will empower the readers to discover the true meaning of Christmas. Both authors really provided a great complete information about Christmas that is related. Also rationalize the comprehension for all the symbols we see during this Advent season. While I was reading this devotional about Advent, I have discover a brilliant of a book that rationalize in clear details the whys and how’s some things happened to become some of our most appreciate Christmas traditions or decorations. The word “Christmas” is the representation of Christ’s Mass which was referred to a special worship service held annually on December 25th to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Yes Christmas is all about the baby Jesus Christ. The word arose in the course of the twelfth century and
the word appeared during the twelfth century and come into existence from the words Christes maesse. But there is one thing I gain the knowledge during the time I was reading about the word Christmas. Furthermore here’s what both authors, Warren W. Wiersbe and David W. Wiersbe have minister to me personally:

In order that the first syllable of Christmas comes from the word “Christ” is unquestionable. In the language of Greek the name Christ is Χρίστος (christos). Powerful symbol of that first letter looks like the English letter X. Without exception, vocation has its shorthand, and Christians in the church used the letter chi (X) to represent Christ in words that began with “Christ-“. In my personal opinion, some individuals believes that “Xmas” is an honorable abbreviation for Christmas. Nevertheless, taking Christ out of Christmas is an injustice to Christ because since Christmas is about the birth of Christ so Christmas shouldn’t be used as an abbreviation. During my reading of this Advent devotional, I am so  puzzle over and ask oneself, if people who are promoting Xmas really have the knowledge about the signification of the X. I am uncertain that it is not and it provides me a brand-new mindset in the purpose on how to react when I see Xmas. At this moment, instead of being provoked I will put into action by giving praise to Mary’s Baby, Jesus Christ the bright morning star.  At this moment I will communicate to God through prayers for my gratitude to God for sending His son for us. At this moment I will dwell upon on the gracious beginning of Jesus in our world remarkably abounding years ago.

It was also thought-provoking to get more knowledge about Bethlehem. I won’t go into details for this word but did you realize that Bethlehem define as the “house of bread”? The knowledgeable facts that Jesus is the Bread of Life, that we will never hunger when we have Him in our lives, it makes extensively sense. This is something I didn’t realized just as many individuals. It always great to learn something new.I pray that many individuals will do Advent devotions together with their families and friends starting this season of Advent. I have also make a decisions for my personal morning devotions in December during Advent will be the focus from “C is For Christmas.” I am looking forward to discover an advanced expression of the Christmas season this year. If you have the desire to learn more about the history, the personalities, and the significance of the birth of Jesus Christ, then I energetically advocate that you get the book “C is for Christmas” today and start reading it daily and often during Advent. I believe that you will enjoy the messages and experiences the growth in your faith simultaneously. Phenomenal book to learn more about the true meaning of Christmas.

Reconnecting with Emory forces him to question himself. Can he vow his life to another when his heart still pounds for the one who got away?

The Night Before Christian – A Christmas Novella Book Review:

This is the first book “The Night Before Christian” that I have read by Joy AveryThis is a magnificent Inspiration Holiday Romance narrative. The only thing that Emory Chambers wanted for Christmas is a strong, romantic, and dependable man. The Characters of Christian and Emory had such a magnificent well-founded romance. In the storyline, two years ago family drama forced Emory to break up with Christian St. Claire, the only man she has ever loved. The way of life that form this break up and caused them go their separate ways were forced to resolve once they saw each other again. Emory have to take care of her mother ‘Ms. Anne’ and  her sister ‘Jordyn’ but now was time for Emory to let someone take care of her. At the moment Christian is standing right in front of Emory Chambers ordering flowers for his upcoming wedding to Yasmin. “The Night Before Christian” is an awesome Christmas romance story to read. Emory and Christian were once lovers who realized that they have unfinished matters with people who are controlling the situation that is keeping them apart. We all can relate just like Emory and Christian, that it is difficult to get over first loves. Alongside everything launched at you from several directions, sometimes you have to ask, is it worth all the trouble? I have to be honest that the conclusion of this narrative surprised me in the direction that I wasn’t expecting and that what a great novel should be all about. I will definitely recommend this book for everyone that love reading a great Christmas Romance novel. Hopefully that Joy Avery will continue the story with more about the character of Jordyn and Chauncey. I am going to read more works by Joy Avery.

Tisha’s Warm Christmas – A Christmas Novella Book Review:

This is the first book “Tisa’s Warm Christmas” by Janice L. Dennie. I was looking for some great Christmas Books to read and I noticed this one. I decided to start reading it at the beginning, I immediately love the story already. Janice L. Dennie created a wonderful short Christmas Novella with the scenery at The Underwood Family Estates at Napa valley. Tisha Underwood and her father travels to Napa Valley, California to spend the Christmas Holiday with Tisha’s Aunt. While she was at Napa Valley, she met Trevor Howard through her cousin Brianna. Tisha wanted to take a break from dating after her ex boyfriend cheating on her. Tisha wants somebody who is loyal, faithful and honest. Trevor was pleased that Tisha shares the same values just like him. He knew that Tisha was the one for him. Even though the story was only 37 pages but the story was filled of hope, inspiration love and the best part is celebrating the Holiday with family. I love the Characters of Tisha Underwood and Trevor Underwood. The chemistry between them are so unique. Tisha lives in Dallas while Trevor live in California and now they are willing to see each other as a couple. The best part of this book is that the storyline is clean and no profanity or erotica scene whatsoever. If you love a great Holiday Romance that is Rated PG then this is the book for you. Now I am going to read Tisha’s Christmas Wedding. I am going to read more works by this author.

About This Book:

 A Christmas Novella

The gift Theresa Manning wanted couldn’t fit under a Christmas tree. She desperately wanted a true family, with a faithful husband who would be daddy to all of her children. But she’d struck out three times in the baby-daddy department. And now that her career was on the rocks as well, the only One Theresa could turn to was God. She prayed for God to turn her life around, just as he had done for her friend, Trinity Thomas on Christmas Eve. Tony Black had made mistakes in his life, he’d never tried to hide that fact. But every since he fell in love with Theresa, he vowed to be a better man. The fact that she didn’t trust him and had called off their wedding because of unsubstantiated rumors was not going to stop him from being with his family and showing them the true spirit of Christmas. Along the way, this holiday season, Theresa and Tony just may received the greatest gift of all.

The Gift Book Reviews

“The Gift” written by Vanessa Miller is a wonderful Inspirational Christmas Novella. I always enjoyed reading Vanessa Miller’s Books. This is the third Christmas Novella that I read by this anointed author. The Novella starts off with Theresa Manning and her singing group The Four T’s. Theresa, Tara, Trinity and Tina were good friends with a great singing careers until their personal obstacles caused them to be dropped by their recording labels. They have made negligently decisions and unscrupulous behaviors often.  Theresa also was about to marry  Football player Tony Black until it was a rumor reported on TMZ, that he had an affair with another woman. Tara had a problem with drugs and she was dealing with a painful past in her childhood. This is an awesome inspirational Christian Christmas novella that will ministers to the readers about the true gifts about Christmas. I love the way about the Character of Tony Black when he wanted to talk to the Children about The Gift. At first Theresa didn’t want him to do it because of her pride but he proceed to tell them. Tony mentioned to them that  Christmas wasn’t about gifts under the tree but it is the ultimate gift, Sweet baby Jesus. We as Christians can relate with the Characters in “The Gift.” Many Individuals believes that Christmas isn’t Christmas if they don’t get the exact gifts they requested. However, there is so much more to the day of Christmas. The baby Mary was pregnant with indeed the greatest gift that we have ever received. Christmas is all about the birth of Jesus Christ. Furthermore, the only gift that Christ wants us to give Him is our hearts and to live to serve Him. All we have to do to accept the gift of Jesus is to allow Him in our hearts. That’s the best gift that we can ever received. This storyline shows us about suffering, loss, forgiveness, love and transformation. I love the fact that Tony wanted to stay in his kids life and took responsibility for his wrongdoings. If you are looking for a great Christmas Novella with a Christian Foundation then I recommend you to read this book.
