About This Book:
A Christmas Novella
The gift Theresa Manning wanted couldn’t fit under a Christmas tree. She desperately wanted a true family, with a faithful husband who would be daddy to all of her children. But she’d struck out three times in the baby-daddy department. And now that her career was on the rocks as well, the only One Theresa could turn to was God. She prayed for God to turn her life around, just as he had done for her friend, Trinity Thomas on Christmas Eve. Tony Black had made mistakes in his life, he’d never tried to hide that fact. But every since he fell in love with Theresa, he vowed to be a better man. The fact that she didn’t trust him and had called off their wedding because of unsubstantiated rumors was not going to stop him from being with his family and showing them the true spirit of Christmas. Along the way, this holiday season, Theresa and Tony just may received the greatest gift of all.
The Gift Book Reviews
“The Gift” written by Vanessa Miller is a wonderful Inspirational Christmas Novella. I always enjoyed reading Vanessa Miller’s Books. This is the third Christmas Novella that I read by this anointed author. The Novella starts off with Theresa Manning and her singing group The Four T’s. Theresa, Tara, Trinity and Tina were good friends with a great singing careers until their personal obstacles caused them to be dropped by their recording labels. They have made negligently decisions and unscrupulous behaviors often. Theresa also was about to marry Football player Tony Black until it was a rumor reported on TMZ, that he had an affair with another woman. Tara had a problem with drugs and she was dealing with a painful past in her childhood. This is an awesome inspirational Christian Christmas novella that will ministers to the readers about the true gifts about Christmas. I love the way about the Character of Tony Black when he wanted to talk to the Children about The Gift. At first Theresa didn’t want him to do it because of her pride but he proceed to tell them. Tony mentioned to them that Christmas wasn’t about gifts under the tree but it is the ultimate gift, Sweet baby Jesus. We as Christians can relate with the Characters in “The Gift.” Many Individuals believes that Christmas isn’t Christmas if they don’t get the exact gifts they requested. However, there is so much more to the day of Christmas. The baby Mary was pregnant with indeed the greatest gift that we have ever received. Christmas is all about the birth of Jesus Christ. Furthermore, the only gift that Christ wants us to give Him is our hearts and to live to serve Him. All we have to do to accept the gift of Jesus is to allow Him in our hearts. That’s the best gift that we can ever received. This storyline shows us about suffering, loss, forgiveness, love and transformation. I love the fact that Tony wanted to stay in his kids life and took responsibility for his wrongdoings. If you are looking for a great Christmas Novella with a Christian Foundation then I recommend you to read this book.
