God Will Protect You from the enemy

Stop taking responsibility for other people’s crazy. That’s their issue. They had that emotional demon before you met them. You didn’t love them wrong, their demon can’t be loved right. Learn to accept the fact that wrong people won’t be right for you, and be glad that God removes people who keep Him from blessing you. They are not your loss, they are your win – anytime God frees you from what you couldn’t win with, you win. Start thinking like a winner and stop acting like you could have won with somebody who God had to save you from. Quotes By Patrick Weaver

Aretha Franklin Truly Knew How To Handle Her Business

The Queen of Soul had one rule: she would get paid in cash before she performed – on the spot – or she would not sing.

Franklin insisted on being paid in cash because she grew up in an era where other Black artists like BB King and Ray Charles were swindled out of their money.

The Queen of Soul had her cash go straight into her handbag, which she kept on the piano onstage with her before handing it off to her security team.

Even Franklin’s contracts required club promoters to physically hand her $25,000 in cash, and anything beyond was handed over in the form of a check.

Franklin didn’t keep all of the cash for herself, but used the money to pay the staff from the shows off the books.

Aretha Franklin left an absolutely phenomenal legacy that is beyond words, and one thing we can take away from the legacy is the power in knowing our value and worth in conducting our affairs.

Ella Jane Fitzgerald

Ella Jane Fitzgerald (April 25, 1917 – June 15, 1996) was an American jazz singer sometimes referred to as the First Lady of Song, Queen of Jazz, and Lady Ella. She was noted for her purity of tone, impeccable diction, phrasing, intonation, and a “horn-like” improvisational ability, particularly in her scat singing.
After tumultuous teenage years, Fitzgerald found stability in musical success with the Chick Webb Orchestra, performing across the country but most often associated with the Savoy Ballroom in Harlem. Fitzgerald’s rendition of the nursery rhyme “A-Tisket, A-Tasket” helped boost both her and Webb to national fame. After taking over the band when Webb died, Fitzgerald left it behind in 1942 to start her solo career

Her manager was Moe Gale, co-founder of the Savoy[1], until she turned the rest of her career over to Norman Granz, who founded Verve Records to produce new records by Fitzgerald. With Verve she recorded some of her more widely noted works, particularly her interpretations of the Great American Songbook.
While Fitzgerald appeared in movies and as a guest on popular television shows in the second half of the twentieth century, her musical collaborations with Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, and The Ink Spots were some of her most notable acts outside of her solo career. These partnerships produced some of her best-known songs such as “Dream a Little Dream of Me”, “Cheek to Cheek”, “Into Each Life Some Rain Must Fall”, and “It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing)”.

In 1993, she ended her nearly 60-year career with her last public performance. Three years later, she died at the age of 79 after years of declining health. Her accolades included fourteen Grammy Awards, the National Medal of Arts, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Sometimes all it takes is a certain inspired word to steer many into the right direction. I don’t want to be someone who just writes to write. I want to be that person who helped and encouraged others through his writings. I am only a vessel, seeking to inspire others as we live this life of faith…to live again.

Lisa’s truth is so refreshing and her bravery needs to be applauded. “Faith Through The Fog” is that book I would recommend for everyone to read. In case you’re facing the same battles as Lisa did or for those individuals who may know someone who is, this is the book for you. Understanding “Faith Through The Fog” not only blessed me but gave me the insight to understand those who are living with because I also suffered from depression, PTSD, and anxiety. Individuals are challenged with different forms of mental illness.

Learning about mental illness is the key to helping our loved ones and ourselves. Education is also the key to break the stigma about mental illness. We can’t properly help if we don’t know where to start. I didn’t know what to truly expect when I purchased this book, but I was at a point in my life at the time where I needed to know how to live a clear headed life.(fog-less) “Faith Through The Fog” is what ultimately caught my attention because of that; although the content is what kept me to continued reading to the last page of the book. Null and Void

Author: Tresser Henderson

Publisher: Anointed Inspiration Publishing

Number of Pages: 368

About The Author

The most important title I have in this world is being a woman, wife, and mother. I’m so happy to add author to this list as well. I tapped into this passion working in the corporate world for a major insurance company. I wasn’t happy in my job and I had my boss who asked me what is something I’ve always wanted to do. I told him write and from that day on, I’ve been writing ever since.

My debut novel My Man’s Best Friend was published in 2012 by Urban Book/Kensington Publishing. Each year following came My Man’s Best Friend II-Damaged Relations, My Man’s Best Friend III-Severing Ties, The Johnson Sisters, and Big Girl’s Drama.
Signing with Anointed Inspirations Publishing (AIP) in the summer of 2017, Null & Void was my next book to be released October 2017.
Yes my books seem to be on opposite ends of the spectrum but you know what, you only live once. I can write drama. I can write enticing scenes. And I can write Christian. Whatever is placed in my heart to write, I’m going to do it.
I’m a living witness that dreams can come true. So, if there is anything you have a passion to do, go for it. Life is too short not to. For me, this is only the beginning. The sky is the limit and I’m reaching high to get where I want to be.

About This Book

Amelia Reid has it all. Married for twenty five years to a wonderful man, Pastor Carson Reid, and the mother to their two children, Aden and Payton. Add on the nice home, elite status in the community and the prospering church which she is the first lady would make anyone envy her. Now that her husband is better after his bout of pneumonia, she can focus on the pending marriage of their daughter. Rowan was the man of her dreams and Amelia was on cloud nine. That was until she thought about Aden. He had decided to date none other than Juliana Simmons, the church’s very own Jezebel. Little does Amelia know, Aden dating Juliana is the least of her problems. Secrets begin to unfold turning the life she once knew into something she could never fathom for herself or her family. Not only will her marriage and family be in jeopardy but so will her position in the church.

Null and Void Book Review

“Null and Void” is a wonderful story from the first page to the last page. I discover that some of the characters in this book are bad news with. The author really did and awesome job in created this page turning book. The character Carson Reid who is a Pastor of a Church who has a lot of secrets that are obstacles to his family and his Church Congregation in more ways than one. The character, Dee Dee who is Carson Reid’s sister having no problem uses that to her advantage. She doesn’t care about anyone but herself. She will sell her soul to the devil.

With the character of Juliana Simmons, all she wanted was for someone to love her for who she was. Unfortunately life has taught her early on that love was just a four letter word that meant nothing. Now, she feels that she’s met the man of her dreams when she caught the attention of the Pastor Carson Reid’s son. Her feelings for him are strong but his mother isn’t having it. First Lady Amelia doesn’t like Juliana because of her reputation. This makes Juliana want to make it work with Amelia’s son Aden even more. The only problem is there is another man in the wings for her and it is a married man that is Aden’s father. Juliana doesn’t want to back down from a challenge, she’s willing to stoop to levels unimaginable to get the man that she wants. Will she get him in the end or will she suffer the consequences because of her unholy behavior. As reading this story, I can see that Juliana is very delusional. What makes Juliana thinks by using Aden to get back at Carson is going to help her to get him back. She slept around with so many men and she didn’t care who she hurts. Amelia I loved how strong she have shown in her faith and preserved through it all.

Skye is my favorite character who made a choice to wait until she got married to indulge in the passion of the flesh, wanting her first time to be with her husband. Seth was the man who stole her heart and ended up married Skye. Loving her husband with every fiber of her being, Skye is enjoying her life with the newlywed status thinking her life couldn’t be more perfect. Everything change when Skye gets an anonymous call from a woman claiming to be having an affair with her husband. She decided to confront Seth with the accusations of the woman he quickly denies it leaving Skye to battle her thoughts alone. The questions that Skye must asked herself either, should she ignore the phone call from this woman? Or should she believe in the man she planned to spend the rest of her life with? Skye’s heart is telling her she’s reading too much into it, although her intuition is leading her in a different direction. Skye need to find proof, so she decides to comes up with a plan to find out for herself by praying to God that her womanly intuition is wrong. What Skye later on discovers would be more than any woman can bear or deal with.

This scenario was very compelling from the beginning. The twist and turns and the ability of forgiveness clinched this story line for the readers. God’s grace and mercy was shown and delivered throughout “Null and Void”. The faith that was displayed during this storyline would even make the non-believer’s want to get to know about God. Great job and please let us to know how Dante and Skye wedding turned out in your future book.
