Or Will the unthinkable happen?“Spiritual Warfare” is a thrilling page-turner that reminds us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.(Ephesians 6:12)

Spiritual Warfare Book Review

Do you know that there is a war going on? It is not by bullets or guns but by the evil spirits. Without any warnings that Satan want to attack you but you must have the armor that is the Word of God. The Word of God is your best protection. Juan Cortez, Pastor of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church is a Bible Based preacher. He has been the Pastor for that Church over 35 years. He believes in doing things in decency and order. The Church membership is about 1000 members. His wife Joyce Cortez is always standing by his side. One Sunday Morning while he was preaching his sermon on the pulpit of Solid Rock Church, Juan suddenly suffers a stroke. He was hospitalized for several months. He couldn’t move his body. Suddenly the Church decided to get rid of Juan Cortez as their Pastor and replace him with Marco Pablo as the new Pastor. Marco Pablo finally got his wish to become Pastor of Solid Rock. He wanted Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church to become a Mega Church. Pastor Marco Pablo wanted to get rid of things in the worship services that reflected in the teaching of Christ. The devil has control over him and make sure he does things that aren’t holy. Pastor Pablo resented the former Pastor Cortez teachings. He doesn’t like how Juan Cortez tells him,the changes that he is doing to the Church is not pleasing to God. The devil wants to destroy Juan Cortez and the Church as the whole. The Church will not be the same because there is a Spiritual War going on in the Church. This Christian Novel“Spiritual Warfare” by Dr. Sheila C. Carpenter reminds us that there is a war going on. As Christians, if we are going to win, then make sure that we have Jesus deep down within. This battle cannot be won with bullets and guns. For the enemy you cannot seed with human faculties. In this spiritual warfare, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness.

This was a great story written by Dr. Carpenter. I really like how she portrays the four families in this book. Once I started to read this book that I couldn’t put it down. The devil tried to send his army to attack the congregation of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church, but the angels come to protect them from evil. There were different kinds of spirits that was affecting the souls of many believers in this story. There were evil spirits of False Doctrine, Hatred, Lust, Racism, Greed and others wanted to destroy the Solid Rock Church Family. That was the plan of the devil to destroy the work of God, but the Angels were also in the presence to protect the believers of Christ. Sheila wants her readers to know that you must read the Word of God for yourself. Without any warning that Satan will try his best to attack the Children of God. You must know the Lord for yourself. In our Christian life, we can’t fight this battle on our own. We need the power of God rooted and grounded in our life. We need the armor of the Lord so we can walk right, talk right, pray right and live right. Dr. Carpenter minister to us through the characters on how to follow the lifestyles of true Christianity. Even though the story is fiction, but spiritual warfare is real with darkness. This book is a great tool to teach Bible Study. The Word of God is the best weapon to fight the enemy. In Sheila’s book“Spiritual Warfare” that Satan wanted to get rid of Juan Cortez and anybody that stands in his way. The devil wanted to send his army to attack Pastor Juan Cortez and the members of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church. Satan wanted the new Pastor, Marco to get rid of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and replace it with false doctrine so that their souls can reside in hell. I definitely recommend anyone to read this book that wants to have a better walk with Jesus Christ. We all can learn from this story by putting God first in everything that we do.

About This Book:

What Issues Stand Between You and God? Even as a faithful Christian, there may be times when you feel that there is no hope of escaping issues and themes in your life that ensnare and trip you up time and time again. When a certain pattern of behavior or type of suffering has been following you all your life, it’s hard to believe that you can ever escape from it. Christians with Pervasive Issues shows us that every child of God can be delivered from issues that cause them to be a victim, rather than walking in victory. In compassionate, no-nonsense language, Annie Brown demonstrates that with genuine repentance, using God’s principles, and the right counseling/support, you can overcome anything. Christians with Pervasive Issues gives you the ray of hope, you need in order to heal your life, and get closer to God. It is the desire of Annie that Christians work through their pervasive issues before the end of life so that the transition between death and eternity can be smooth and not cluttered with unresolved issues. While this aspect is important, it is also vital that Christians are sure that they are doing all that they can to be strong and steady in order to help others as we get closer to the return of Christ. It is going to be of vital importance in these last days that Christians know that they are rooted and grounded in the Word of God and that they are filled with the Holy Spirit. Why? Because there will be an influx of individuals coming into our midst who will challenge the very core of what Christians believe. To be able to stand firm and declare the truth, we must get prepared for this great harvest. The Scripture has declared that God’s Words are truth and they are life. In order to help others in the Body of Christ it is time for those who profess to have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to stop picking flowers by the wayside and get in a position to help others as we “watch” for the soon coming “King” to come and gather his jewels.

The Christians With Pervasive Issues Book Review:

The responsibility to help individuals who are suffering is our Christian duty. As Christians, we are to show men and women of their transgressions and sins. We should encourage them to communicate to God to handle their problems.God’s way is the best way. For you to understand this book, you must first know what is pervasive. Pervasive means spread throughout, or in everything, and a motif is a decorative element or pattern. Congratulations to Annie Brown for writing a book that deals with a difficult topic about Christians with pervasive issues. When it comes to the Christian community that sometimes we become so comfortable in what we allow to accept and expect in life. Some of us will look back and wonder if God is really standing by our side. Annie minister to her readers that if you want to be Christ- like then you must practice what you are saying. Some people will have a hard time to accept, but the message in this book is based on the Word of God. There are tough choices that we need to make. We need to believe that whatever God say that His word is final. We need to accept what he tells us what to do. If you think that you can do what you want to do then you are going have to face the consequences of doing things your ways. Annie shows her reader the road map to how to live a healthy Christian lifestyle. God wants us to get rid of our old self and start a new life with Him. We also need to let go of those shackles that are holding us back. You need to change your mindset by cleaning your mind on a regular basis. Also, you need to change your surroundings. Stop hanging out with folks that want to keep you down, and don’t have your best interests at all. This is the time to face the truth and stop blaming others for your pervasive issues.

In the book “Christian with Pervasive Issues,” Annie really addresses the difficult behaviors that plaque individuals at some point in their lives. She ministered to her readers about how to overcome them. She let us know that the roots of the pervasive issues are internal. We need to stop blaming others for our problems and start to start taking responsibility for what you have control to do. She even has a message for victims of violent crimes that they need to find the strength to forgive and move forward. Annie was able to write this book because she shares her own personal struggles. God guides the pen for Annie to write this powerful message in this book to help empower individuals to overcome their own issues. Annie wants her readers to know that God wants healing for your soul. So you must not be stuck in your past of being hurt. God wants you to move forward so you can experience a new life. This book is perfect for somebody that don’t know how to overcome their problems. This book may save your life and put you in the right direction with God.

The Other Man(Sins of the Flesh Book 2) Book Review:

Applause to Parker J.Cole for starting the ball rolling what most Christians would never even speaks out loud, much less write about it. She extended her heart to the readers and minister to us through her writing, that marriage is not warm fuzzy bliss. While reading this story. I tremble about Leah and Jacob’s struggles. As a reader, you can sympathize  or relates with their anger, their hurt, their confusion, and most of all their frustrations and feelings of helplessness. Some may say that their conflicts aren’t real and their decisions aren’t profoundly human and make us squirm and ache, we aren’t human. Just like in life, there are cheerfully sweet moments, but the struggle really goes on. The mountains and valleys get higher and deeper. Parker J. Cole also contradiction how people glimpse on life’s “mistakes” and how they are going to deal with them. I come to the conclusions about some Christian authors tend to shy away from a lot of the hard questions and often times they are avoiding the real problems that people are going through in life. People especially Christians tell lies, they cheat. they are unfaithful. What I truly adore about Parker J Cole through her scribbles, that she is fearless in attacking these issues, the daily issues that can either crumble a relationship–or by the Grace of God, it can becomes stronger.

“The Other Man” is an outstanding inter-fusion of well-created characters, apprehension plot lines and a compelling message that will leave you forever renewed. This anointed author does a marvelous job of luring the reader directly into the lives of the characters. She doesn’t purely give you a sketch of their lives, she draws a picture for the readers to search deep into their hearts, their emotions, and their thoughts. As a reader you may feel their struggles as if they were your own. As reading the chapters there were  the amount of times the Author may you feel like  your heart tear into pieces, put them back together, and a couple pages later, tear it into apart again. The message is so powerful doesn’t seem to overlay the encounter it can affect on the minds of the readers. It will leave you as a reader to  take  a look in the mirror of  your own life, and the desire to walk with Christ, looking for places you had let your will succeed to His will. I believe this book can be pre-designed to be a best-seller and turn into a block buster movie to minister the world. This book should be added to your bookshelf and a must read. After reading this narrative, it  will transform your heart, your marriage, and your walk and talk with Christ.

 About This Book:

There’s no battle like a spiritual one! In HELL IN THE CHOIRSTAND, Jeremiah David Day moves to the spiritually desolate city of Olds. Jeremiah, an anointed Gospel musician, receives an invitation from Rev. Daniel Trantham, the pastor of Ezekiel Baptist Church, to become their minister of music. Ezekiel’s congregation welcomes Jeremiah as he goes to work establishing the music department as an army of worshipers, but Renard Singleton, the church organist, feels that Jeremiah is unnecessarily disturbing the natural order of things. Renard resents being overlooked for the music minister position, and enters into a spree of revenge against Jeremiah through botched choir rehearsals and petty squabbles with individual singers. Renard concentrates the majority of his activities, however, in the spiritual realm. Unbeknownst to Jeremiah, Renard is a member of the Society of Tyrus; a secretive, demonic cult of musicians with chapters (The Pentagrammatory) that span across the country. Renard prepares a series of musical spells and incantations; prescribed from a book (Codified Manual of Tyrus) whose origin dates back to the 9th century and believed to be inspired by Heaven’s (excommunicated) original chief musician, Lucifer. Renard’s intention – use music to erect confusion among God’s people through the worship services. Renard’s father, Adrian, attempts to dissuade his son’s scheme with the admission of a thirty year old family secret, but it’s to no avail. Equipped with the new information, Renard heightens his damnable acts – the planting of arcane devices in Bibles, morbid musical arrangements, and secular compositions that call for the eradication of the people of God. As the story progresses, the Tyrus Society’s annual DOA – a nationwide strategic confusion of church worship – is fast approaching, and Renard wants to be at the forefront of the movement. But God has sharpened Jeremiah’s weapon. A battle ensues as the two musicians take up arms. Jeremiah embraces the Lord while Renard clutches the Ras el-Ain. The result is a musical showdown in the middle of a worship service where human and instrumental voices unite to summon the ear of God and mobilize an angelic host. The Heavens are telling! HELL IN THE CHOIR-STAND is a revelation of the power that music possesses and how faith in God restores and upholds a people, a city, and the world.

Hell In The Choirstand Book Review:

Melodramatic draft of the plot was complement by the mix of descriptive and factual quantity that were mingle into the plot. I love the way how Titus Pollard presented the history lesson in the beginning of this book, “Hell In The Choirstand.” Mr. Pollard wanted to show the readers in order that history lesson being the aspect how that satanic repercussion were created, at times, a subtle attempt, no make that a subtle success at messing with “true” gospel. The Characters were well created which shape them believable and truly gave them personality. The picturesque transcription of this Christian Novella encouraged me to put a picture (In My Mindset) the glimpse of the characters while I am reading. Even though this is a fiction book but I can relate to this storytelling. Not only I been in the Church most of my life but I also sang in the Choir, the characters were substantial and in good representations of the type of individuals that I will encounter in the Church. The overshadow theme about the forces of Satan work their way in disguise into the Church definitely is the absolute the truth that Titus Pollard is talking about in this book. This is something for me to think about and makes me to be more in the right mind both in my personal life and in the Church. The devil sit right next to us in the Church pews, singing in the Choir, on the Pulpit, on the deacon and trustee board in the purpose of destroying the Church through the Church Folks. Satan love to slither his way into our Church Services without us knowing it. I also love the way Titus Pollard presented the Word of God to each verse from the Holy Bible, with the next one was a genius idea in the purpose of  minister to the readers.

This book really make you think about secret societies(clique) with hidden agenda that is often evil. The ongoing warfare of the positive and the negative behavior is fought between two Church musicians. The battleground for souls make the scene at the Ezekiel Baptist Church, a fast growing Church that is expanding and growing. The Church musician, Jeremiah Day finds himself at Ezekiel through the intervention of God. He immediately takes leadership of the music department while getting on Renard’s nerve who has been the Choir Director for over a decade. Renard is connected with the secret circle of Tyrus which is a nationwide group of musicians who inject themselves into the Church Music Programs in order to cause controversy, disharmony, chaos and turbulence throughout Ezekiel Church Music Ministry. The chords used be composed in the influence of evil to destroy the Church Ministry. I know this book is fiction, but this do happen in many Churches today. If you are a Christian who are seeking help to discover solution to triumph over wicked in your house of worship (The Church), then I recommend you to read this book for yourself. We as Christians are in denial that there are a spiritual warfare going on in the Church. While we are shouting in the Church, the devil is sitting right next to us in Church in disguise. There are definitely hell in the Choir stand causing havoc in the Choir. It suppose to be harmony in the Choir instead there are disharmony because most likely it starts with the leadership. As you read this book, you may have to stop reading several times, to allow the words meditate about what you just read. You can be minister to by allowing the message to help you to know the true purpose of Worship through God’s music. Titus wants the reader to know that God is truly holds all power in His Hands.

Titus Pollard created a great book that can turn into a personal Sermon “Hell In The Choirstand.” Once I started to read this book, I didn’t want to put it down. I really love the characters of Jeremiah Day and his wife Arze Day. Both Jeremiah and Arze are marvelous in their God given gift to produce Ezekieh Baptist Church into a greater level of praise. Jeremiah remain steadfast while Renard Singleton was a corrupt person trying to tear down the music ministry. We all can learn from Jeremiah by staying faithful to God. When we stay faithful to Him, God in due time will work out the situations and remove all things and people that aren’t Holy or pleasing to Him. I really love the plot and the narrative that was well written and takes you on a journey through many twists and turns. For me “Hell In The Choirstand” kept me on my feet and grab my attention from the first page to the last page of this story. The Chaos that Renard try to created against Pastor Trantham and The Ezekieh Church really does happen to many of our Churches. If the head isn’t right then don’t expect the tail be right. Praise and Worship is our best weapon to fight against Spiritual Warfare and keep the Hell out of the Choirstand. I highly endorsed this book to everyone especially those individuals that are involved in the Church Music Ministry. I am looking forward to read more book from this anointed Author. I pray that “Hell In The Choirstand” become a block buster movie.

Trial of Injustice Book Review:

“Trial of Injustice” is about the Character Thaddeus Ganvis who is the Pastor of Miracle Faith Church, was arrested for murder. In the beginning,  I thought the narrative was assuming that Pastor Ganvis would be innocent, but then the skepticism began to rise as the narrative unfolds and more truth is revealed. Pastor Ganvis is human just like the rest of us after all, but the main questions we all wanted to know “Did he murder anyone?” Charles Everson who grew up in Pastor Ganvis’ Church and was like a father to Charles decided to be his attorney to help prove that the Pastor is innocent. The obstacles is that key witnesses keep on disappear in the small town full of corrupted officials until it looks like nobody is left to testify. The readers will discover that this novel is in the vicinity of greed and power. It manifestation the depth to which people are willing to sink in order to get these. In this small town of Alabama, the leaders of the town are willing to frame an innocent pastor for murder for large cash payouts from an evil law firm representing a conglomerate of investors wanting the land where the Church stands. even though this is a Christian Fiction book but this really do happen in our society today. T.K Ware skillfully twist and turn the narrative so the reader does not learn too rapidly all the details and cannot figure out before the trial how the attorney will defend Pastor Ganvis. There are criss-cross in the plot. People are disappearing, kidnapped, and injured to keep the truth at bay. Yet, the reader is directed to believe in God and that in the end  God always wins. We should learn to trust in God in all things. We shouldn’t believe the gossip that we hear. We are reminded God is faithful and never fails.

I found this book to be an excellent read. This is the first Christian Book that I read  that is created in such a remarkable way. I love the way how the Author portrayed the Character of Thaddeus Ganvis who is the Pastor who have the faith by displaying the trust in God was set in stone. Despite the fact he was locked up unlawfully for the murder of a young lady, God was working out of public view to bring him out by using his attorney Charles. I believe that T.K.Ware created this story for the purpose to encourage us to pray and really to explore God, and ask Him to help improve our faith in the Master. As a reader I picture myself, if I was in the shoes of Pastor Ganvis, How will I put my faith into action  if something this tragic happens to me? Can I will be able to forgive? Do I still praise Him in Advance? T.K is very gifted and anointed in the writing of this mystery novel. The plot was very good and the pace kept me wanting to read to figure out the solution.  The champion for justice in “Trial of Injustice” is Charles Everson who is an attorney fight for what is right and integrity. Charles Everson follows God’s will regardless what might happen to him while defending the innocent. This novel is written so that readers can be minister to and discover that God wins in the end regardless of what destructive occurred and continues to occur to thwart justice. The action-packed ending of this story made it hard to put down the book. The main point that minister to me the most was regardless the wrong that Deacon Bradley did to Pastor Ganvis and the Church, Pastor Ganvis didn’t hold any grudges but use the power of forgiveness. Also there was a sentence in the book speaks so much volume “Sometimes a little power can destroy a fool. Deacon Bradley allows Satan use his lust for power and greed to destroy his integrity and to take his freedom. Mr. T.K. Ware should consider using the Character of lawyer Charles Everson in other stories. He is a well-developed character that we want to see champion fighting causes and justices for God. Also “Trial of Injustices” will make a great Blockbusters Christian Movie.
